CREAMED SWEET CORN WITH A TWIST!

Ingredients Weight Measure
Butter 5 oz.
Green and red peppers, finely chopped 3/4 cup
Onion, finely minced 1/3 cup
Corn 6 cups
Water 1 cup
Flour 1/2 cup
Heavy cream 3 cups
TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce 2 Tbsp.
Salt 1 tsp.

Method

  1. Melt butter; add peppers and onions. Cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until softened slightly.
  2. Heat corn in a separate pan with water until heated through; set aside.
  3. Add flour; stir and cook for a minute or 2. Add heavy cream and stir until thickened.
  4. Strain water from corn and add corn to sauce. Add TABASCO® Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce and salt; taste and adjust seasonings.
