SANTO'S RED ONIONS

Ingredients Weight Measure
Onions, sliced 1-1/4 lbs.
Butter 2 oz.
Oil 2 oz.
Brown sugar 1 tsp.
White pepper 1/4 tsp.
Ketchup 3/4 cup
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1/4 cup

Method

  1. Cut onions in half and slice. Sauté onions in butter and oil; add sugar and pepper. Cook until soft.
  2. Add ketchup and TABASCO® Sauce; cook for 5-10 minutes on simmer.
  3. Serve over hot dogs or your favorite dish.

Yield: 12 servings
