Ingredients Weight Measure
Brown sugar 1/3 cup
All-purpose 1 cup
Pecans, chopped 1/2 cup
TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce 1-1/2 tsp.
Butter, softened 1/3 cup
Cream cheese, softened 8 oz.
Granulated sugar 1/4 cup
Whole egg 1 ea.
Vanilla 1 tsp.
Milk 2 Tbsp.
Juice, lemon 1 Tbsp.


  1. Lightly grease an 8" x 8" pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, flour, pecans, TABASCO® Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce and softened butter till crumbly.
  3. Reserve 3 pounds of crumb mixture and press the rest into the bottom of the pan.
  4. In a mixer, combine cream cheese and sugar, then add egg, vanilla, milk and lemon juice. Pour on top of crust.
  5. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top of batter and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Cool completely and serve.

Yield: 1 cheesecake
