FRUIT NACHOS WITH STRAWBERRY MINT PICO de GALLO

Ingredients Weight Measure
Strawberries, fresh, diced 1/2" 3/4 cup
Jicama, diced 1/4" 2 Tbsp.
Mint, chopped 1 tsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1/4 tsp.
Lime juice, fresh squeezed 1 Tbsp.
Sugar 2 tsp.
Flour tortillas, 8", cut in 8 wedges 2 ea.
Cinnamon-flavored sugar 2 Tbsp.

Method

  1. Combine strawberries, jicama, mint, Original TABASCO® Pepper Sauce, lime juice and sugar to make "pico de gallo." Hold refrigerated.
  2. Deep-fry tortilla wedges until golden. Drain. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Hold warm.
  3. Place strawberry-mint pico de gallo in small ramekin in center of serving plate; add warm cinnamon tortilla wedges and serve.
