Ingredients Weight Measure
Butter, soft 3 Tbsp.
Chives, minced, fresh 1-1/2 Tbsp.
Dijon mustard 1 tsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1 tsp.
Salt and pepper to taste
Whole wheat bread, slices 4 ea.
Chicken, roasted, thinly sliced, purchased 8 oz.
Watercress, thick stems trimmed 1 bunch


  1. Combine butter, chives, mustard, and TABASCO® Sauce in a small bowl; blend well. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Bring to room temperature before using further.
  2. Spread chive butter on 1 side of each bread slice.
  3. Place chicken on buttered side of 2 bread slices. Top chicken with some watercress.
  4. Press remaining 2 bread slices, buttered side down, onto watercress. Cut each sandwich into four pieces.
  5. Arrange any remaining watercress on 2 plates. Top with sandwiches.
