Ingredients Weight Measure
Yogurt, plain 1 cup
Sugar 1 tsp.
Mint, dried 1 tsp.
Salt to taste
TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce 1/2 tsp.
Lamb, ground 2 lbs.
Garlic cloves, finely chopped 3 ea.
Onion, medium size, finely chopped 1 ea.
Cumin, ground 1 Tbsp.
Pepper to taste
Pita pockets 6 ea.
Tomato, chopped
Scallions, finely chopped 4 ea.


  1. In a small bowl, combine yogurt, sugar, mint, salt and TABASCO® Garlic Pepper Sauce. Reserve.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine lamb, garlic, onions, cumin and salt and pepper.
  3. Form patties and grill or broil for 6-9 minutes each side or until cooked through.
  4. Place in pita pockets with yogurt sauce and chopped tomato.

Yield: 6 servings
