Ingredients Weight Measure
Vegetable oil 2 oz.
Skirt steak, sliced 1/2" strips 12 oz.
Onion, sliced 1/4 " strips 5 oz.
Green bell pepper, 1/4" strips 5 oz.
Tomatillos, chopped 4 oz.
Oregano 1Tbsp.
Red wine vinegar 3 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce 2 tsp.
Black olives, halved 3 oz.
Salt 1/4 tsp.
Tomato sauce 1-1/2 cups
Butterfly pasta (farfale), prepared 2 lbs.


  1. Using a large sauté pan, heat oil and cook sliced steak for 5 minutes.
  2. Add onions, green peppers and tomatillos and continue cooking until onions are translucent.
  3. Add oregano, vinegar, TABASCO® Garlic Pepper Sauce, olives, salt and tomato sauce. Simmer covered for 30 minutes.
  4. Combine prepared pasta with meat sauce in sauté pan and serve.

Yield: 9 8-oz. portions
