TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce 2-2/3 Tbsp.

Shrimp Hush Puppies

Flour 3/4 cup
Cornmeal 1 cup
Baking powder 1 Tbsp.
Sugar 1 Tbsp.
Salt 2 tsp.
Eggs 1 ea.
Onion, fresh, minced 1/4 cup
Creamed corn 18 oz.
TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce 2 Tbsp.
Shrimp, salad, cooked, chopped 22 oz.
Whole milk 2 oz.
Green onion, sliced thin 1/4 cup


  1. To prepare Chipotle Tartar Sauce, combine tartar sauce and TABASCO® Chipotle Pepper Sauce.
  2. To prepare Shrimp Hush Puppies, combine all dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Fry hush puppies at 360°F.
  4. Scoop batter with 2 oz. scoop. Scoop in hot oil no more than 12 hush puppies per fry. Fry 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Drain well.

Yield: 5 servings (6 each)
