CARIBBEAN SPICY CRAB DIP WITH FRIED WONTON CHIPS

Ingredients Weight Measure
Crab meat, drained 8 oz.
Cream cheese 8 oz.
Sour cream 1 cup
Red peppers, minced 1/4 cup
Red onion, minced 1/4 cup
Cilantro, chopped 1 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce 4 Tbsp.
Salt 1 tsp.
Lime juice 1 Tbsp.
Egg roll skins, 5"x5" 20 ea.

Method

  1. Place all ingredients except egg rolls in medium bowl. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Quarter egg roll skins triangular shaped and fry small batches at 360°F, stirring as you fry.
  3. When skins are done, allow to drain and season lightly. Portion into 5 equal portions on platters.
  4. For each serving, place a 3/4-cup serving of crab dip with fried wonton chips and serve.
