Marinade and Chicken

Ingredients Weight Measure
Olive oil 5 cups
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1/2 cup
Garlic powder 2 tsp.
Paprika 3 tsp.
Ass Kickin'® Steak Sauce 1/2 cup
Jalapeños, medium, pressed through a garlic press 2 ea.
TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce 4 tsp.
Water 2 cups
Chicken breasts, boneless, skinless 12 ea.

Buttermilk 4 cups
TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce 1/4 cup
Cracker crumbs 3 cups
Sunshine® Cheez-It® Hot & Spicy Baked Snack Crackers, crushed 16 oz.


  1. For the Marinade, place all ingredients except chicken in a bowl and stir until combined.
  2. Place chicken breasts in marinade.
  3. Cover the bowl tightly with a lid and shake vigorously to coat chicken evenly.
  4. Place in the refrigerator to marinate 8 hours or overnight. Shake every couple of hours, when possible.
  5. To prepare Coating, whisk buttermilk and TABASCO® Garlic Pepper Sauce together.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix cracker crumbs and Cheeze-It® Crackers.
  7. Drain and rinse chicken. Pat dry.
  8. Dip chicken into buttermilk mixture and then dredge in crumb mixture.
  9. Let chicken sit in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  10. Deep-fry at 350°F for 10-15 minutes or until done.
