Ingredients Weight Measure
Olive oil 2 Tbsp.
Shallots, julienned 4 cups
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 2 Tbsp.
Molasses 3/4 cup
Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp.
Thyme, minced 2 sprigs
Ketchup 2 cups
Brown sugar 1/2 cup
Water 1/4 cup
Salt to taste


  1. In a large sauté pan, heat oil and caramelize shallots. Remove from pan and puree.
  2. In a stainless steel bowl, place pureed shallots, TABASCO® Sauce, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, ketchup, brown sugar and water. Mix well and strain through a small-hole china cap. Season with salt if needed.
