Chipotle Pepper Tartar Sauce

TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce 2 Tbsp.

Frozen breaded clam strips 20 oz.
Vegetable oil, for frying as needed
Tomato tortillas, 10" 5 ea.
Chipotle Pepper Tartar Sauce (recipe to follow) 10 oz.
Lettuce, shredded 10 oz.
Tomatoes, diced 5 oz.
Frill toothpicks 10 ea.


  1. To prepare the Chipotle Pepper Tartar Sauce, mix together the TABASCO® Chipotle Pepper Sauce and the tartar sauce. Pour into a sauce bottle and reserve refrigerated.
  2. To prepare the clams, fry the strips in oil at 360°F until golden brown.
  3. Grill the tortillas on a griddle 1-2 minutes each side.
  4. Squeeze 1 oz. of the Chipotle Pepper Tartar Sauce over the tortillas. Top with 2 oz. lettuce, 1 oz. tomatoes and 4 oz. fried clam strips, and squeeze another 1 oz. Chipotle Pepper Tartar Sauce over the clam strips.
  5. Roll the tortilla tightly and pin each end with a frill toothpick. Cut in half on a bias and serve with cole slaw or fries.
