Indian Meatballs

Ingredients Weight Measure
Ground sirloin beef (under 10% fat content) 2 lbs.
Yellow onions, large, peeled, minced 2 ea.
Green bell pepper, large, seeded, minced 1 ea.
Cilantro leaves, washed, chopped 1 bunch
Garlic, fresh, minced 3 Tbsp.
Curry powder 6 level Tbsp.
Salt 2 level Tbsp.
Black pepper, ground 1 level Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1 tsp.
TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce 1 tsp.

Spicy Meatball Sauce

Ingredients Weight Measure
Onions, large, peeled, quartered 2 ea.
Tomatoes, large, quartered 5 ea.
Cilantro leaves 1 bunch
Granulated sugar 2 Tbsp.
Salt 1 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce 2 tsp.
TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce 1 tsp.
Bottled water 1 qt.

Method

  1. To prepare the Indian Meatballs, mix together all ingredients. Form into 60 meatballs and set aside.
  2. To prepare the Spicy Meatball Sauce, place the ingredients in a food processor and pulse on high speed for 1 minute to blend all items.
  3. Place sauce in a large sauce pot and add the raw meatballs. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes over low heat.
  4. Serve with flour tortillas, Indian naan or pita bread.
