Ingredients Weight Measure
Tricolor tortellini 1 lb.
Olive oil 1/4 cup
Red wine vinegar 1/4 cup
Basil, fresh, chopped 1/4 cup
TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce 3 Tbsp.
Salt and pepper to taste
Beefsteak tomato, diced 1 ea.
Bacon, cooked crisp, chopped 1 lb.
Mesclun greens 1/2 lb.


  1. Cook tortellini, shock in cold water and set aside.
  2. Combine oil, vinegar, basil, TABASCO® Garlic Pepper Sauce, salt and pepper for dressing.
  3. Arrange tomato, bacon and tortellini over greens
  4. Ladle dressing over salad and serve.

Yield: 4 servings
