Ingredients Weight Measure
Onions, minced 1-1/2 Tbsp.
Parsley, fresh minced 1-1/2 Tbsp.
Granulated garlic 1 tsp.
Parmesan cheese 2 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce 2 Tbsp.
All-purpose flour 2 cups
Baking powder 1-1/4 tsp.
Salt 3/4 tsp.
Eggs 2 ea.
Milk 1-1/4 cups
Sugar 1/2 tsp.


  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Heat deep fryer to 360°F (while batter rests for 10 to 15 minutes).
  2. When oil reaches 360°F, fill funnel with 1/2 cup of batter. Remember to hold your finger on bottom of funnel so it does not pour through.
  3. Using caution, hold funnel over deep fryer. Release batter in circular motion; then criss-cross over the top.
  4. The funnel cake will rise quickly and expand. Do not overcrowd deep fryer.
  5. Cook to golden brown on both sides, remove from oil and allow to drain. Serve while warm. Repeat process until all batter is used.

Yield: 8 to 10 funnel cakes
