Ingredients Weight Measure
Breadcrumbs, fresh, coarse 4 cups
Butter, melted 1/2 cup
Peaches, pitted, sliced 6 ea.
Brown sugar 1/3 cup
Lemon juice 1 Tbsp.
Ginger, fresh, finely chopped 1 Tbsp.
Cinnamon, ground 1 tsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1 tsp.
Dry sherry 1 tsp.
Whipped cream (optional), for serving as needed


  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Lightly butter a 2 qt. baking dish. Stir together breadcrumbs and butter; set aside.
  2. Combine peaches, brown sugar, lemon juice, ginger, cinnamon and TABASCO® Sauce, mixing until well blended. To assemble, spread 1 cup buttered breadcrumbs in bottom of casserole; top with 1/3 peach mixture. Sprinkle 1 Tbsp. sherry over peach layer.
  3. Spread another cup of breadcrumbs and top with half of remaining peaches and another tablespoon of sherry. Make third layer of 1 cup breadcrumbs and top with remaining peaches and sherry. Spread remaining breadcrumbs on top of peaches.
  4. Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes; uncover and bake 30 minutes longer. Cool until warm and serve with whipped cream.

Yield: 6-8 servings
