SKILLET CUSTARDS WITH MANDARIN ORANGES

Ingredients Weight Measure
Sugar 1 cup
Milk 3 cups
Salt 1/8 tsp.
Eggs 4 ea.
TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce 1/8 tsp.
Mandarin oranges 4 oz.

Method

  1. Mix sugar, milk, salt and eggs together.
  2. Pour 4 oz. batter into buttered custard dishes and place in a skillet with a water bath.
  3. Bake at 300°F until custards are set and firm. A toothpick inserted in the middle will come out clean.
  4. Mix TABASCO® Habanero Sauce into the mandarin oranges and juice.
  5. Place 2-3 drained mandarin oranges on top of the custards and serve.
