OVEN-BROWNED RICE WITH ALMONDS AND GARLIC SAUCE

Ingredients Weight Measure
White rice 2 cups
Almonds, sliced, toasted 1/4 cup
Chicken stock 4 cups
Salt to taste
TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce 2 Tbsp.

Method

  1. Put rice onto sheet pan and brown in 350°F oven.
  2. Remove and put into saucepan with chicken stock, salt and TABASCO® Garlic Pepper Sauce.
  3. Simmer until liquid is evaporated and stir in almonds.

Yield: 8-10 servings
