CUBAN PANINI WITH JALAPEÑO PEPPER RELISH

Jalapeño, minced 2 Tbsp.
Cucumber, small dice 1 Tbsp.
Onion, minced 1 Tbsp.
Red pepper, small dice 2 Tbsp.
Cider vinegar 1 Tbsp.
Salt to taste
Sugar 1/2 tsp.
TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce 1 Tbsp.
Ham 16 oz.
Roast pork 16 oz.
Swiss cheese 8 oz.
Cuban bread, 8" loaves 8 ea.
Lettuce, shredded 4 oz.
Tomato, sliced 16 slices

Method

  1. Mix jalapeños, cucumbers, onions, red peppers, vinegar, salt, sugar and TABASCO® Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce to make the relish.
  2. For each sandwich, place 2 oz. each ham and pork and 1 oz. cheese on the Cuban bread.
  3. Top with 1 Tbsp. relish, lettuce and tomato. Place on panini press until hot and lightly browned.
