TURKEY CLUB WITH HOT BACON DRESSING

Ingredients Weight Measure
Bacon strips 5 ea.
Onion, minced 4 oz.
Oil, salad 4 oz.
Vinegar, white 4 oz.
Water 1/2 cup
Sugar 2 oz.
Turkey 18 oz.
Swiss 12 oz.
Lettuce, shredded 3 oz.
Tomato, sliced 2 ea.
Bread, sliced 12 slices

Method

  1. Cook bacon in sauce pan, remove and drain.
  2. Using 1 teaspoon bacon fat, saute onion.
  3. In mixing bowl, drizzle in oil and vinegar alternately, add onion, sugar, water and crumbled bacon.
  4. Assemble sandwiches, dividing turkey, swiss, lettuce and tomato. Drizzle 2 tablespoons bacon dressing over each sandwich and serve.

Yield: 6 servings
