EGG AND VEGGIE PITA WITH SWISS

Ingredients Weight Measure
Pita Bread 8 ea.
Butter 1 Tbsp.
Onions, diced 4 oz.
Green Peppers, diced 6 oz.
Mushrooms, sliced 6 oz.
Tomatoes, diced 1 cup
TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce 1 Tbsp.
Eggs 8 ea.
Swiss cheese, 1 oz slice 8 oz.

Method

  1. Melt butter in saucepan. When hot sauté onions, peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes. Add TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce and mix well.
  2. Add eggs and scramble with vegetables.
  3. Slice pita bread and fill with one slice of swiss cheese and 4 oz of egg and vegetable mixture.

Yield: 8 ea.
