DOUBLE-SPICED CORNED BEEF BRISKET

Ingredients Weight Measure
Corned beef brisket 8 lbs.
Pickling spice 1 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 2 Tbsp.
New potatoes 2 lbs.
Baby carrots 2 lbs.

Method

  1. Remove brisket from package and add to heavy pot along with the brine.
  2. Add water to cover 3/4 of brisket.
  3. Add pickling spice and TABASCO® Sauce and simmer 2 hrs.
  4. Add potatoes and carrots and simmer until beef and potatoes are fork tender.
  5. Slice brisket thinly on a bias and serve with horseradish.

Yield: 8 servings
