SWEET AND HOT GRAPEFRUIT WITH DARK CHOCOLATE SAUCE

Ingredients Weight Measure
Heavy cream 8 oz.
Bittersweet chocolate 6 oz.
Butter 2 Tbsp.
Brown sugar 2 Tbsp.
Crème de cacao 1 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1 Tbsp.
Grapefruit, cut in 1/2, sectioned, empty halves reserved 8 ea.

Method

  1. Boil cream and add to chocolate pieces, stirring constantly to make sauce.
  2. Melt butter in saucepan and add brown sugar, crème de cacao and TABASCO® Sauce. Reduce liquid until it is of syrup consistency.
  3. Add grapefruit sections and stir to coat. Remove from heat and spoon sections into empty grapefruit halves. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and serve.

Yield: 8 ea.
