Ingredients Weight Measure
Sweet potatoes 3 ea.
TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce 1 Tbsp.
Onion ring batter mix 1 cup
Water 3/4 cup
Salt 1/2 tsp.
Sugar 2 Tbsp.


  1. Using a mandolin slice sweet potatoes thinly into chips.
  2. Soak in ice water for 15-20 minutes. Crain well and pat dry.
  3. Add water, TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce, sugar, and salt to batter and mix well.
  4. Using tongs dip chips into bater and shake off excess, deep fry until chips float and start to brown. Approximately 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove onto paper lined pan to drain and serve.

Yield: 45 ea.
