ASIAN BEEF SALAD WITH CABBAGE AND BROWN RICE

Ingredients Weight Measure
Beef flank steak 2 lbs.
Lime juice 1/2 cup
Soy sauce 2 Tbsp.
Fish suace 1/4 tsp.
TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce 1 tsp.
Garlic 3 Tbsp.
Ginger 2 Tbsp.
Cilantro 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Green Onions 1/2 cup
Sesame Oil 2 Tbsp.
Cabbage, shredded 6 cups
Carrots, sliced thinly 1 lb.
Cucumbers, sliced thinly 1 lb.
Tomatoes, cut in 1/8's 1 lb.
Brown rice, cooked 4 cups

Method

  1. Grill or broil flank steak until medium, cool and slice into thin strips.
  2. Combine steak with lime juice, soy, fish sauce, TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce, garlic, ginger, cilantro, salt, and sesame oil.
  3. Spread a thin layer of cabbage over plate and lay beef on top.
  4. Top with carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes and reserved dressing.
  5. Serve with 1/2 cup of rice per serving.
