JERKED BEEF SALAD WITH PAPAYA

Ingredients Weight Measure
Beef, top round 2 lbs.
Allspice 1 Tbsp.
Thyme 1 Tbsp.
Nutmeg 1 tsp.
Salt To taste
Garlic Powder 2 Tbsp.
Olive Oil 1 cup
TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce 1 Tbsp.
White Vinegar 1/4 cup
Orange juice 1/2 cup
Romaine 1 head
Onion, red sliced thinly 8 oz.
Red pepper, sliced in strips 8 oz.
Papaya, peeled and cubed 1 ea.

Method

  1. Cook beef until medium doneness and slice into 2 in. strips.
  2. Combine beef with dry spices, olive oil, TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce, vinegar, and orange juice and marinate for at least 1 hr.
  3. Place beef on romaine and garnish with pepper, onion, and papaya.

Yield: 8 ea.
