ROBUST TOMATO-BASIL DRESSING

Ingredients Weight Measure
Canned tomatoes, drained 8 oz.
Red bell pepper, small, chopped 1 ea.
Cider vinegar 1/2 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce 2 tsp.
Sugar 1-1/2 tsp.
Salt
Olive oil 1/3 cup
Basil, fresh, chopped 1/4 cup

Method

  1. Combine tomatoes, red peppers, vinegar, TABASCO® Garlic Pepper Sauce, sugar and salt into a food processor or blender; puree.
  2. With machine running, slowly add oil until well blended. Stir in basil.

Yield: 2-3 servings
