Ingredients Weight Measure
Onion, chopped 1/2 cup
Ginger, minced 2 tsp.
Garlic, minced 1 tsp.
Olive oil 1 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce 1 tsp.
Chicken broth 1 cup
Ketchup 1/2 cup
Bay leaves 2 ea.
Allspice berries 6 ea.
White pepper, ground 1/4 tsp.
Chicken drumsticks 12 ea.


  1. In a saucepan, sauté the onions, ginger, and garlic in the oil until soft. Add the remaining ingredients except chicken, bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer until the sauce is reduced and thickened.
  2. Remove the bay leaves and place the sauce in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
  3. Brush either the drumsticks or the grill lightly with vegetable oil to keep drumsticks from sticking to the grill.
  4. Cook over a slow fire, turning frequently, for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove, dip the ends of the drumsticks in the sauce and serve.

Yield: 1-2 servings
