SPICY, SALTY SOUTHERN DOG

Ingredients Weight Measure
Gran Centenario® Anejo 2 oz.
Fresh grapefruit juice 3 oz.
Ginger syrup (see recipe in step 1) 1/2 oz.
TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce 2 dashes
Ginger, candied, for garnish as needed

Method

  1. Ginger syrup (Combine 1 cup simple syrup with 5" length of peeled, sliced ginger in blender. Puree. Let sit for 5 minutes; then strain.)
  2. Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice, shake and strain into salt-rimmed, ice-filled Collins glass.
  3. Garnish with candied ginger.

Yield: 1 serving
