GREEK WINGS WITH FETA CHEESE DIPPING SAUCE

Greek Wings

Ingredients Weight Measure
Chicken wings, wing tips cut off and discarded and the wings halved at the joint 16 ea.
Garlic salt 2 Tbsp.
Black pepper 2 Tbsp.
Cayenne pepper 2 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce 2 Tbsp.
Fresh Greek oregano leaves 2 Tbsp.

Feta Cheese Dressing

Ingredients Weight Measure
Feta cheese 1/4 lb.
Mayonnaise 1 cup
Red wine vinegar 1 Tbsp.
Lemon juice 1 Tbsp.
Sour cream 2/3 cup
Garlic salt 1/4 tsp.
Celery seed 1/4 tsp.

Method

  1. For Greek Wings, place the wings in a large bowl and sprinkle with the garlic salt, pepper, cayenne, TABASCO® Garlic Pepper Sauce and oregano, turning the wings to coat both side with seasonings, and then cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Preheat a grill to medium-high.
  2. For the Feta Cheese Dressing, blend all ingredients together in a food processor. Transfer to a bowl, cover and refrigerate until ready serve.
  3. Grill chicken wings, turning once, until the juices run clear when pierced with a fork. Serve immediately with a side of Feta Cheese Dressing.
