ORANGE-CUMIN CHICKEN WINGS

Ingredients Weight Measure
Chicken wings, wing tips cut off and discarded and wings halved at joint 20 ea.
Vegetable oil 2 Tbsp.
Orange juice 3/4 cup
TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce 1/4 cup
Dried cumin 2 tsp.

Method

  1. In a bowl rub oil onto wings.
  2. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat, turning over once, until barely cooked through, 20-25 minutes.
  3. Simmer vinegar, TABASCO® Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce and sugar in a heavy saucepan, stirring occasionally, until reduced to about 1/3 cup, 12 to 14 minutes.
  4. Pour balsamic mixture over wings and toss to coat well.
  5. Let stand 5 minutes; then toss again.

Yield: 20 wings
