COFFEE-CRUSTED PORK CHOPS WITH SPICY RED-EYE GRAVY

Ingredients Weight Measure
Pork chops, 8-oz. size 8 ea.
Coffee, coarsely ground 1/2 cup
Black peppercorns, cracked 1/2 cup
Beef gravy/brown sauce 24 oz.
Tomato puree 4 oz.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1 Tbsp.
Coffee, pre-made, double-strength 4 oz.
Salt to taste

Method

  1. Season pork chops with salt and press cracked pepper and ground coffee onto both sides.
  2. Sear both sides on hot grill and cook until medium-well.
  3. For red eye gravy, mix brown sauce, tomato puree, TABASCO® Sauce and coffee, bring to a simmer.
  4. Serve each chop with red eye gravy.
