CUBAN REUBEN SANDWICH

Cuban Reuben Sauce

Ingredients Weight Measure
Mayonnaise 2 cups
Dijon mustard 1 cup
Caraway seeds 1/4 cup
TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce 3 Tbsp.
Sweet relish 1/4 cup
Cracked black pepper 1 tsp.
Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp.

Sandwich

Ingredients Weight Measure
Cuban Reuben Sauce (see above and below) 2 Tbsp.
Corned beef, sliced 6 oz.
Sauerkraut 1/4 cup
Swiss cheese slices 2 ea.
Cuban bread, 6" piece 1 ea.

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients for Cuban Reuben Sauce together and refrigerate.
  2. Spread bread with sauce. Place beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese on bread.
  3. Place in sandwich press for 3 or 4 minutes. Serve immediately.

Yield: 1 sandwich
