Ingredients Weight Measure
Butter 4 Tbsp.
Garlic, fresh, minced 2 tsp.
Garlic powder 1/2 tsp.
Onion powder 1/2 tsp.
Oregano 1 tsp.
TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce 1-1/2 tsp.
French baguette 1 ea.
Chorizo sausage, sliced, pre-cooked 1 cup
Cheddar cheese 1-1/2 cups
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste


  1. Combine butter, garlic, oregano and TABASCO® Chipotle Pepper Sauce in a small sauce pot over low heat until butter is melted.
  2. Split baguette down the center and spread open. Brush with butter mixture. Place chorizo and cheddar cheese over both sides of the bread.
  3. Bake in a 350°F oven for 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bread is toasted.
  4. Remove from oven and cut into 4" pieces. Serve with soup or chili.
