Ingredients Weight Measure
Butter 4 oz.
Flour 2 Tbsp.
Cream 1/2 cup
Milk 1 cup
Cheddar cheese, low salt, shredded 8 oz.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 2 Tbsp.
Eggs 3 ea.
Macaroni, cooked 2 lbs.
Panko breadcrumbs 1 cup


  1. Make cheese sauce by placing butter in a medium sauce pot and melting it. Add flour and stir to form a paste.
  2. Add cream, milk, cheddar cheese and TABASCO® Sauce. Stir over medium heat until smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 15 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs and then fold in macaroni. Add sauce and fold in gently but quickly.
  4. Place in soufflé dishes and top with breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake in preheated 350°F oven in a tray with a little water bath until brown and bubbly, approximately 40 minutes.

Yield: 6 8-oz. portions
