Ingredients Weight Measure
Cookie crumbs (oatmeal, ginger snaps, shortbread, etc.) 16 oz.
Butter 8 oz.
Vanilla 2 Tbsp.
Cinnamon 1 tsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 2 tsp.
Sugar, brown 1/2 cup
Apples, dried and chopped 1-1/2 cups
Apples, cored and skinned 6 ea.
Puff pastry squares, 5" 6 ea.
Eggs, cracked and beaten 2 ea.
Caramel sauce 1 cup
Ice cream, vanilla garnish


  1. Mix crumbs, cinnamon, vanilla, butter, 1 tsp. TABASCO® Sauce, brown sugar and dried apples together to make the stuffing.
  2. Cut apples in half and place stuffing on one half of each apple. Top with the other apple half and wrap in pastry dough. Brush with egg and sprinkle with sugar.
  3. Bake until golden brown. Mix the remaining TABASCO® sauce (1 tsp.) and caramel sauce. Serve apple with vanilla ice cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.
