TABASCO® GRILLED CHEESE & APPLEWOOD SMOKED BACON SANDWICH

Ingredients Weight Measure
Sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded 10 oz.
Cream cheese, softened 7 oz.
Mayonnaise, extra heavy 1/4 cup
Garlic powder 1/4 tsp.
Onion powder 1/4 tsp.
Pimentos, finely diced, drained and pressed dry 3 oz.
Applewood smoked bacon, cooked, chopped 2 oz.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1-1/2 fl. oz.
Salt (optional) to taste
Pepper (optional) to taste
White bread, bakery style, cut into 3/4-in. slices 16 ea.
Butter, softened as needed

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients in mixer using a paddle.
  2. Fill each sandwich with 3 oz. of pimento cheese mixture.
  3. Spread a thin layer of softened butter on outer sides of each sandwich and grill on griddle or in a panini press.

Yield: 8 sandwiches
