Mayonnaise 1/4 cup
TABASCO® brand SWEET & Spicy Pepper Sauce 1/4 cup
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1/2 tsp.
Shrimp, peeled and deveined 1 lb.
Cornstarch 1 cup
Oil (for frying) 1-1/2 qt.
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Lettuce cups 4 ea.
Green onions, chopped 1 bunch


  1. Heat oil to 360ºF.
  2. Mix mayonnaise with TABASCO® SWEET & Spicy and TABASCO® Original Red Sauces, and set aside.
  3. Dredge shrimp in cornstarch and deep-fry until shrimp are slightly brown. Remove to drain on a paper towel.
  4. Toss cooked shrimp with sauce from step 2; coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. For each serving, place one-quarter of the shrimp in a lettuce cup. Garnish with chopped green onions.
