SPICY MAC AND CHEESE-STUFFED BURGER

Ingredients Weight Measure
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 2 oz.
Mac & cheese, prepared and chilled 1 cup
TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce 2 oz.
Fried onions 1 cup
Ground beef, 80/20 2-1/4 lb.
Brioche or seeded buns 4 each
Lettuce leaves 8 each
Tomato slices 8 each
Salad, prepared as a side 1 lb.

Method

  1. Fold TABASCO® Original Red Sauce into prepared mac & cheese. Form mixture into 2-oz. discs.
  2. Fold TABASCO® Chipotle Sauce and fried onions into the ground beef; ball into 4.5-oz. portions and flatten each patty. Place 1 mac & cheese disc in the center of 1 beef patty, lay another patty on top and seal the edges.
  3. Pan-roast burgers, placing in an oven to finish if necessary.
  4. Toast buns. Lay 2 pieces lettuce and 2 slices tomato on the bottom of each bun, place each burger atop tomatoes, and serve with 4 oz. side salad.
