Ingredients Weight Measure
Milk 2 cups
Flour, sifted 2 cups
Baking powder 1 tsp.
Eggs 2 ea.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1 tsp.
Salt 1 tsp.
Vegetables for dipping (broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms, onion, etc.)


  1. Combine all ingredients except vegetables.
  2. Dip vegetables in batter; shake off excess batter. Deep-fry at 350°F until lightly browned and tender. This is a mildly flavored batter. For more spice, add more TABASCO® Sauce to taste.
