TUNA AND VEGETABLE CHOWDER

Ingredients Weight Measure
Water 4 cups
Chicken, vegetable or onion base 5 tsp.
Cabbage, shredded 3 oz.
Frozen broccoli, chopped 5 oz.
Frozen carrot slices 5 oz.
Dried thyme leaf 1/2 tsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1/2 tsp.
Tuna in water 12-14 oz. 2 cans

Method

  1. In a large saucepot, bring water to boil; add base and stir until dissolved.
  2. Add cabbage; simmer 15 minutes.
  3. Stir in broccoli, carrots, thyme and TABASCO® Sauce; simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  4. Add tuna just before serving.

Yield: 4 12-oz. servings
