NEW ORLEANS STYLE PIZZA

Ingredients Weight Measure
Sour cream 1 oz. 2 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce, divided 1 Tbsp. + 1/2 tsp.
Prepared Alfredo sauce 6 oz. 3/4 cup
Prepared pizza dough round, 14" 1 ea.
Mozzarella cheese, shredded 4 oz. 1 cup
Cooked chicken breast, 1" cubes 2 oz. 1/2 cup
Red & green pepper strips 3 oz. 1/2 cup
Onions, diced 1-1/2 oz. 1/4 cup
Chorizo sausage, cut in 1/8" rounds 1-1/2 oz. 12 pieces

Method

  1. Combine the sour cream and 1/2 tsp. TABASCO® Sauce. Reserve until needed.
  2. Combine the Alfredo sauce and the remaining TABASCO® Sauce. Reserve until needed.
  3. Place the dough on an oiled pizza screen. Dock the dough well. Top with the Alfredo-TABASCO® sauce, leaving a 1" border around the edge. Spread the cheese over the sauce, and top with the chicken, red and green pepper strips, onions and sausage. Bake in a preheated 450°F oven for 7 minutes. Drizzle with TABASCO®–sour cream mixture. Allow to cool slightly; cut into 8 slices.
