SPICY PESTO CHICKEN PIZZA

Ingredients Weight Measure
Prepared pizza dough round, 14" 1 ea.
TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce 1-1/2 oz. 3 Tbsp.
Pesto 1 oz. 2 Tbsp.
Plum tomatoes, 1/4" slices 4 oz. approx. 14-18 slices
Garlic salt 1 tsp.
Chicken breast, cooked and julienned 7 oz. 1 cup
Mozzarella cheese 4 oz. 1 cup, loose pack
Fresh basil, cut into thin strips and shredded or julienned 1/2 oz. 2 Tbsp.

Method

  1. Place the dough on an oiled pizza screen. Dock the dough well. Brush TABASCO® Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce on dough; then brush on pesto. Cover dough with 1/4" slices of tomato, but do not overlap slices. Sprinkle with garlic salt. Evenly distribute chicken over top of pizza and cover evenly with mozzarella cheese to the sides.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 500°F for 12 minutes. Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly and cut into 12 slices. Place basil evenly over pizza and serve.
