Ingredients Weight Measure
Dry lima beans 4 lbs.
Ham, cubed 2 lbs.
Onions, chopped 1-1/2 lbs. 3 pts.
Condensed tomato soup 50 oz. 1 #3 can
Chili powder 1/4 cup
Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup
Salt 2 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 4 tsp.
Whole kernel corn, drained 29 oz. 1 #2-1/2 can
Water 1 qt.


  1. Place beans in large pot, cover generously with water and bring to boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 1-1/2 hours or until beans are tender.
  2. Add ham, onions, tomato soup, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, TABASCO® Sauce, corn and water. Simmer 1-1/2 hours longer, stirring frequently. Add additional water during cooking, if necessary. If desired, serve with additional TABASCO® Sauce.
