Ingredients Weight Measure
Prepared pie crust for 9" pie 1 ea.
Eggs, large 3 ea.
Dark corn syrup 1 cup
Dark brown sugar 1/2 cup
Butter or margarine, melted 1/4 cup
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 2 tsp.
Pecans, coarsely chopped 1-1/2 cups
Whipped cream as needed


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Place pie crust in 9" pie plate. Make decorative edge.
  2. In large bowl, beat eggs slightly. Add dark corn syrup, dark brown sugar, melted butter and TABASCO® Sauce. Place pecans in prepared pie crust; pour filling over pecans. Bake pie 15 minutes.
  3. Reduce oven to 350°F. Bake pie 40 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1" from edge comes out clean. Cool pie on wire rack. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
