SWEET & SPICY BROWNIES

Ingredients Weight Measure
Unsweetened chocolate 8 oz. 8 squares
Butter or margarine 12 oz. 1-1/2 cups
Granulated sugar 2 lbs. 1 qt.
Large eggs 6 ea.
All-purpose flour 8 oz. 2 cups
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 2 Tbsp.
Semi-sweet chocolate chips 6 oz. 1 cup
Chopped walnuts 5 oz. 1 cup

Method

  1. In medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt chocolate squares and butter or margarine, stirring frequently.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a half sheetpan (18"x14"x1").
  3. In large bowl, combine sugar, eggs, flour, TABASCO® Sauce and melted chocolate mixture until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Spoon mixture into pan. Bake 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool pan on wire rack.
