SPAGHETTI SAUCE

Ingredients Weight Measure
Red sauce base(see recipe) - 3 qts.
Green pepper, chopped 11 oz. 3 cups
Whole tomatoes, chopped 24 oz. 3 cups
Dried basil leaf, crushed - 1 Tbsp.
Dried oregano leaf, crushed - 1 Tbsp.

Method

  1. Heat red sauce to simmering. Add green pepper, tomatoes, basil and oregano.
  2. Bring to a boil, simmer approximately 15 minutes.

Yield: Approx. 1 gallon
