Vegetable oil 1/3 cup
Medium onions, chopped 16 oz. 6 ea.
Garlic, minced 4 cloves
Tomato paste 48 oz.
Water 2-1/2 qts.
Sugar 2 Tbsp.
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce 1-1/2 Tbsp.
Salt 1 Tbsp.


  1. Heat oil in a stockpot. Add onions and garlic; sauté until clear, about 3 minutes.
  2. Stir in tomato paste, water, sugar, TABASCO® Sauce and salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.

Yield: Approx. 1 gallon
