TOMATO-JALAPEÑO CHUTNEY

Ingredients Weight Measure
Vegetable oil 3 Tbsp.
Onions, finely chopped 1-1/2 cups
Green bell peppers, finely chopped 1-1/2 cups
Celery, finely chopped 3/4 cups
Garlic cloves, minced 3 ea.
Water 2-1/4 cups
Tomato paste 1-1/8 lbs.
TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce 3/8 cup

Method

  1. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in onions, bell peppers, celery and garlic and cook 5 minutes or until tender, stirring often.
  2. Add water, tomato paste and TABASCO® Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce and mix well. Simmer 8 to 10 minutes longer, stirring often.

Yield: 12 servings
