STEAK & CHEDDAR WRAP

Ingredients Weight Measure
Sirloin steaks 2-1/4 lbs.
Onion, minced 8 oz. 2 cups
Green pepper, diced 8 oz. 2 cups
TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce, divided 3/4 oz. 1-1/2 Tbsp. + 5 oz.
TABASCO®-flavored Red Beans & Rice Mix 90 oz. 9 cups (see separate recipe)
Creole mustard 2 Tbsp.
Flour tortilla, 12", grilled 12 ea.
Cheddar cheese, shredded 6 oz. 1-1/2 cups

Method

  1. Grill steaks on high heat until medium rare. Thinly slice, cool, cover and refrigerate until needed.
  2. Sauté onions and peppers and 5 tsp. TABASCO® Sauce in preheated pan. Cool, cover and refrigerate.
  3. For each serving, reheat 2 oz. cooked steak, 3/4 cup TABASCO®-flavored Red Beans & Rice Mix and 1 oz. pepper and onion mixture. Spread 3/4 of 1 tortilla with 1/2 tsp. mustard and cover with warm steak and beans, rice, and pepper and onion mixture. Top with 1/2 oz. cheese. Spray with TABASCO® Sauce and roll up tightly, ending with uncovered portion of tortilla.
